URGENT MEDICAL DEVICE CORRECTION NOTICE: BD SMARTSITE™ PRODUCTS
BD has initiated a Medical Device Correction Notice for the BD SmartSite™ products noted in this document.
BD has identified issues with the valve of the needle-free connector, resulting in difficulty to flush, flow issues, and partial or total occlusions on extension sets with BD Smart Site™ and standalone BD SmartSite™ needle-free connectors.
