Dockworkers Strike Impacting Shipments

Updated: October 4, 2024

As of October 4th, the Dockworkers Strike at U.S. East and Gulf Coast seaports has officially ended. While the strike was brief, there may still be some residual effects on shipments as ports work to clear any backlog that developed during the work stoppage. However, the major disruptions and long-term impacts that were initially feared have been avoided.

At IMS, we will continue to monitor the situation as operations return to normal. We remain committed to minimizing any lingering disruptions and keeping you informed about any potential impacts on your orders.
We appreciate your patience and understanding during this challenging time, and we thank you for your continued partnership. Normal shipping operations are expected to resume shortly.
