The lntrocan Safety@ 2 IV Catheter is designed to:
- Minimize inadvertent needlestick injuries with a passive safety needle-shielding feature.
- Control the flow of blood which aids in the prevention of blood exposure.
The catheter may be used for any patient population with consideration given to adequacy of vascular anatomy and appropriateness for the solution being infused and duration of therapy.
